The Expert Pipeline Builders
The current health situation, due to the spread of COVID-19, has changed our professional habits. Faced with quarantine, working from home has become a part of our daily routine.
However, this new way of working can also be difficult for some of us. Here are some tips on how to work successfully from home!

Find the best workspace
Even at home, it is better to separate your family life from your professional life. It is therefore important to choose the place that will serve as your office. If you have the chance, find a quiet room without distractions.
However, try to avoid working in your bedroom! If you have no choice but to settle in the living room, you must ensure that the place you choose remains your workspace. If you live with other people, let them know that your new office is set up.
Create an orderly and comfortable workspace
When you first set up your workspace, take the time to organise it well. Working in a messy place will keep you from having clear ideas and being efficient. It doesn’t need to be completely empty, but you need to have a fairly clear view.
Once your desk is ordered and clean, prioritize to keep it that way. It’s always more pleasant to arrive at a welcoming and tidy space in the morning.
Get into the working atmosphere
Is your workspace set up and ready to go? Now it’s time to get into the best working mindset. You must keep the routine you had before going to work at the office.
Working in pajamas is everyone’s dream, but it is important to feel awake and be ready for the unexpected, like a videoconference or a last minute sales pitch with a potential client.
Even if working from home does not allow you to go out, you must continue to apply all these little things that you usually do before leaving your place such as: taking a shower, having breakfast or morning yoga.
It is necessary to have the impression of “going” to work, even if you only take a few steps to sit at your workspace.
Avoid all distractions
Some people get distracted quite easily, and working from home doesn’t make it easier.
The most challenging thing about working from home is being distracted by even the most trivial things. To maximize the efficiency of your working hours, it is important to stay focused as long as possible. To get there, you need to get rid of the distractions around you such as turning off the television or disabling notifications from your social media.
Take the time to relax
Working can be very stressful. Take time to relax and take breaks to avoid overworking. Take a break when you have accomplished a difficult task or feel like you are losing your concentration.
Take breaks of 5 to 10 minutes and take this opportunity to move around and rest your eyes. The important thing is not to take your breaks while sitting, but to be on the move and keep the blood circulating in your legs. You can, for example, do yoga, meditation, stretch or just breathe some fresh air.
You now know all the tips to be able to work efficiently and be relaxed while working. Working from home can be difficult because your habits have been changed, but if you can discipline yourself for a few hours a day, you can quickly accomplish your goals.
So, on your marks, ready, set, work!
